Bruna Brown
Bruna Brown is my first novel, aimed at a young adult and adult audience. Published in February 2022 by Fanbooks (Grupo 62), it is currently available in bookstores with its fourth reprint.
Bruna is a teenager from Barcelona who, just as she is about to take her first university entrance exam, suffers an anxiety attack. She decides to leave behind the problems she’s been dealing with in Barcelona and moves to Birmingham to work as an au pair. This journey leads her to experience a range of situations on her own—some challenging, others inspiring—that help her mature and better understand herself.
I created the illustration and lettering design for the book cover, as well as the black-and-white illustrations inside the book. As an author, this experience has allowed me to present my novel in various cities and connect with readers, both through social media and in person, such as during the Diada de Sant Jordi.
You can read some of the interviews about the book here:
Interview in Diari de Girona (2022)
Interview in Catorze.cat (2022)
Interview on TV Costa Brava (2022)
Interview on Ràdio Palamós (2022)
