Drawing Songs

In 2012 I started my first personal project as an illustrator. I decided to make a series of illustrations representing phrases of songs in Catalan. All those stories I heard inspired me while I was drawing and allowed me to make my own visual interpretation. This was the only link between the illustrations, this series allowed me to play with colors, textures and technique to experiment and find my style little by little. The songs only shared language and for the illustrations I did not impose any rules on myself beyond incorporating the chosen phrase as another element of the composition. All texts are hand drawn as well.

When I started sharing some of these drawings on social media, I gained the support of many people who started following me and I began collaborating with the music magazine Enderrock, my first gateway into the world of work as a freelance.
